The east side is known as the Royal Coconut Coast due to its many coconut groves and was the vacation spot of royalty in the past. First, a sunset from the north shore town of Princeville with the ocean, ironwood trees and mystical Bali Hai as the backdrop. Next, a trip to the sleepy town of Waimea, where the sun slowly descends behind a vast meadow which is a playground for birds winding down their day. Finally, we end our journey at the ocean's edge in Kekaha for a dramatic feast for the senses. Your eyes are drawn in by the waves meeting the shore and the sea spray rolling over the sand highlighted by the golden hue of the sun.
